I would recommend this holiday to anyone who likes peace and quiet, lovely accommodation, good shops and pubs in walking distance and a lovely walk along the river. The people we met were very friendly and helpful.

The cottage has a homely feel and we felt very welcome straight away. The village is lovely, with two butchers, tea room and fish monger minutes walk away. We met our neighbours who were all very friendly, and the surroundings are soothing and relaxing, including a walking route to a lake with bird watch facilities beginning at the bottom of our street! We can whole heartedly recommend Vale Cottage in Chedgrave to anyone in need of a break in the country.

Vale cottage is a great place to hideaway and release the stress of daily urban living. the proximity of the broads , coast and some great walks make it perfect - especially for those with dogs.

The cottage was a lovely place to stay, and if like us you were there in late winter the place is well stocked with books, video's and cd's, plus an inglenook fire - what more could you want!

The cottage is an absolute delight. Very peaceful and homely, with nice personal touches from the owners. It is close to good facilities as well has having good access to rural walks - very highly recommended!
